"Bushwacking" from Geyser Pass,elevation 10,600', the Hikerman and his sons Ron and Bob, along with Jimmy D. and Ron C., made our way to the flank of Mt Mellenthin. The altitude took many casualties. Only Jimmy D. and my son Ron made it to the summit at 12,645'. The rest of us amused ourselves while we waited for the hikers to return in a beautiful glen. It was protected from the wind by some dwarf pines. What a beautiful day in the mountains!! « menos
